​I'm a Certified Digital Wellness Educator with the Digital Wellness Institute, Health Education Specialist, yoga teacher of 10+ years, and the author of Conscious Adulting in the Digital Age. I serve as the chair of the Welcome Committee at Fairplay, the national children's screen time advocacy organization.

 

I'm based in Gainesville, Florida, and I work with women, families, and schools across the country.

 

I built Unplug LLC & Unplug Academy because I was where you were: overwhelmed, addicted, unorganized and uncontrollable with my tech use. After I gained proven tools to help me, the people I love kept telling me the same thing: "I can't keep up with my own life."

I built this work to help them. and now you,  to reconnect with what matters.

Common Questions

  • What is digital decluttering? Digital decluttering is the process of organizing your inbox, files, photos, apps, and digital accounts so you can find what you need, work without friction, and reduce the mental load of digital overwhelm. It's the digital version of cleaning out a cluttered home.

  • How do I organize my email inbox? Start by unsubscribing from every newsletter you no longer read. Then create three to five top-level labels or folders (not dozens), set up filters to auto-sort incoming mail, and archive, don't delete, anything older than 30 days. The goal isn't inbox zero. The goal is an inbox you can joyfully open. Most of my clients go from thousands of unread emails to under 50 in our second session.

  • How do I declutter my phone? Delete every app you haven't used in 30 days. Turn off all notifications except calls and texts from real humans. Move social media off your home screen, into a folder, on a back page. Set screen time limits on the apps that pull you in. Charge your phone outside your bedroom. These five changes alone reduce daily phone pickups by an average of 40%.

  • How much screen time is too much? For adults, it varies. It's whether your screen use is crowding out sleep, exercise, in-person relationships, focused work, and presence with the people you love. If it is, it's too much. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends framing screen use around what it's displacing rather than how many hours it takes up. For kids, this number is more clear, and we can discuss this in our family plan. 

  • Do you only work with people in Florida? No. My 1:1 coaching is delivered virtually, so I work with women all over the United States. I'm based in Gainesville, Florida, and offer in-person work for local clients, families, and schools within driving distance of Gainesville, Ocala, Newberry, Archer, Alachua, Lake City and Jacksonville. 

  • What's the difference between digital wellness coaching and a productivity coach? A productivity coach helps you do more. I help you do less with more focus, less digital noise, and a clearer relationship to the tools that are supposed to serve you. I bring a nervous-system and embodiment lens to the work because the overwhelm isn't only logistical. It's somatic.

  • Do you work with schools? Yes. I offer parent education events, faculty professional development, and student assemblies on digital wellness, screen time, and the science of attention in the digital age. Schools in North Central Florida can host in-person events; schools elsewhere can book virtual or hybrid programming.
